My Physical

Tomorrow is going to be the worst day of my life. It's going to be my physical. I DON'T WANT SHOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ok? I don't want them. Ugh. So depressed. Then they're going to ask me questions, look in my ears, and all that stupid stuff. At least it got pushed back. It was originally supposed to be on June 24th, but my mom's co-worker needed that day off, so my appointment got pushed back. Cha-ching. But now, the day has come, and I ain't happy about it. I have to fill out a stupid survey too. And then they ask me questions. So I don't understand why they have to do both because giving a survey and then asking you the same questions is just a waste of paper so I am appalled that they would waste paper on a survey when you can just ask me out loud, and not use the paper. My name is Zach Yabo, and I'm an environmentalist.

Well, there are only a couple people who have already gotten their physical in my class, and I hear it isn't that bad. But frankly, I'm a wimp. And I hate shots. And I hate doctors. And I hate constant questions. Just slow, deep breaths, right?!

I am scared. But I need to suck it up.

3 Legends, 1 Week

This week, 3 people we knew and loved and grew up watching on TV and listening to on the radio, tragically passed away. And I was instructed to give a shout out to MADDIE.

Ed McMahon brightened our screens as the second banana to Johnny Carson on "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson." He was the best second banana anyone could ask for. It was saddening to hear about his financial woes in his last years. He always knew when to step in on the show, however. I find it sad that Ed McMahon never got the spotlight, he will always be known for being the second banana, but oddly, I think he would be ok with that.

Farrah Fawcett brightened up our TV and movie screens with her huge blonde hair. Everyone knows her for "Charlie's Angels", which boosted her career and made her a household name.She became a entertainment icon after starring in numerous movies. She seemed like such a gentle, innocent person. In 2006, she was diagnosed with anal cancer. We all that this was sad and tragic, but none of us would've thought it would continue on for these 3, long years. This morning, she passed away after a long battle. This really saddened my day, because I knew she was getting worse, but I wasn't expecting it to happen today. I was expecting her to make the heroic recovery she deeply wanted to make. Her legacy will live on.

Michael Jackson, also known as The King of Pop, was one of the famous Jackson 5. His hits like Thriller and Black or White will forever being implanted in our minds. And who could forget the Moonwalk?!?! He truly was a king. However, over the last couple years, he had been becomg weaker and weaker and stranger and stranger. The big you-know-what charges against him and the baby-dangling incident. But he will always been known as The King of Pop, who will simply be unforgettable.

May these 3 souls Rest in Peace.

Oversleeping

Today I overslept when I was supposed to go to golf. My ride came to my house and I was asleep. Thanks for waking me up, family. I got to golf on time, unshowered. I didn't golf so well either. It looked like this was going to be a great day.

Then I came home and Jared had a friend over. Of course. Then another person came over. Of course. Then I took a nap outside.

Then I ate Pizza..

Now I'm blogging...

LSU is clearly going to win the College World Series. Texas has absolutely no chance. Neither did the other teams that got eliminated. Hahaha. I get called a bandwagon because I have rooted for Oregon State and LSU and they just happen to do awesome. Cal State Fullerton. Gone. Southern Miss, whoopsie! Virginia, Oh No! North Carolina, See ya next year. Arkansas, losers. Arizona State, hahaha. Texas, we will lose. LSU, WEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONZ, MY FRIEND.

...I just have to post this. Who is the person who voted Southern Miss to win? They JUST lost today. Haha. Too bad. I was rooting for them since they were the underdog, but they lost. Oh well. LSU! LSU!

Another Late Night Post

I don't know why, but for some reason it just feels right to post at 11:00 at night. Well, lets see whats been happening lately.

Golf League started yesterday. Now I am really sore. I know, I'm a loser. This weekend we were supposed to go to Chicago for Jared's baseball tournament, but it got canceled because other teams were afraid to enter because they didn't want to get crushed by Jared's team. Reece and Nick's grad party was Saturday. It was awesome. I totally beat Josh in volleyball. And he knows it. Afterwards I went to a play with mi cousins.

Wednesday I went to the orthodontist and he fixed my retainer. That night when I put it in, it didn't fit. Weird, because it fit that morning! It was stupid. Another appointment to fix it...again.

Not much to say tonight. Sorry.

Chase's Corner

Yes, that is right. Chase's Corner is BACK! This is my third post so I thought I would write about something completely pointless, but hoping it will still keep attention. So listen up! I am spending part of the week at the Yabo household. Thus, my posting. On the schedule for tonight- Papa johns for dinner , it was an eloquent feast, nice job Papa John , keep the good food coming. Next, it was a clash of the titans between Paige and I in Rock Band. She says she beat me she had only a miniscule score of 96% on medium-pathetic right? I on the other hand, towered over her with the immeasurable score of 66% on easy. I pretty much owned her there, but I am a graceful winner. After the rock off, we all went to Jared's game. I have to say it was quite a nail-biter. Unfortunatley.... for the other team, Jared's team won 11-1. They had to end the game early in the fifth, the mercy rule. There was a valient effort by both teams, but only one could come out victorious, and it was not the other teams day.... Which brings us to now when I am posting, now we are all just loafing around. The present issue is whether or not to watch a movie.

Late Night Blogging with Zach.

This is a new feature where I blog late at night. Today I almost died. I was in the bathroom and just got out of the shower. Jared came in to plug in his iHome. He left and I shut the door. The bathroom mirror comes shattering onto the ground into a million pieces. If I hadn't moved out of the way, I would've been crushed by the mirror or stabbed by a shard of glass. I am extremely lucky I didn't get cut. Even though I didn't get hurt, I started bawling because (a. It scared the heck out of me and (b. The noise of the glass hitting the ground was ear-splitting. I am now scared to death of bathroom mirrors.

Chase's parents are in Chicago, so he is staying at our house. Chase's Corner will make a brief return on tomorrow's post. He's gonna have a lot to say so we'll see how that goes. A new poll question coming soon. 1 day left to vote.

My summer hasn't been much. I've been watching a lot of TV. Jay Leno had his last show. Conan O'Brien took over tonight. He had a good show. He is a very funny guy.

Let's see what's been happening lately:

Octo-Mom is gonna have a reality show. This is beyond stupid. Octo-Mom is obsessed with babies and just wants to make money so she can officially become Angelina Jolie. Leave us alone, Octo-Mom!!!!!!
