One of My Proudest Poem Moments to Date

This is a poem I wrote for Literature class:

Trees
The tree is my shadow
Treacherous typhoons tear trees to the turf
I say, "Enough with the tree abuse!"
The tree is my shadow
Always there for me to fall back on
When in doubt, hug a tree
The tree is my shadow
Behind me, in front of me, I see trees everywhere
And I like what I see.
The tree is my shadow
Hovering over me, blowing in the wind
Swish Swish Swash Swash
The tree is my shadow.
Color Me Gone,
Zach
