So, America has angered me with their reactions to last night's winner of Survivor, Natalie White. I know that most of my readers don't tune into Survivor, so here's what you need to know. Russell Hantz, from day one, has been a complete jerk. He has manipulated the game, broken promises, and overall been a complete loser. Natalie has ridden on his back the entire time, sneaking her way through, while Russell made despicable moves. Last night, the jury voted for Natalie to win the game, a million dollars, and the title of Sole Survivor. Americans are displeased. Some state that Russell played the game incredibly and made big moves that often changed the game and that he deserved to win the game. I beg to differ.
Natalie played the game wisely. She stayed silent while Russell made the big moves that cost him the game. What Russell didn't realize is that Survivor is a social game. You can NOT go around, shoot off your big mouth, have an arrogant attitude, and over-sized ego, and expect to win this game. Natalie hooked on with the jerk-of-a-leader, played a good social game, and got people to like her. Russell was just a jerk, who manipulated the game, which eventually cost him the game. Natalie deserved the win, and I'm glad she got it.
